Love is a sickness, a plague, a villain.
Ill begotten will; withered flowers long lost.
I am nourish and happy just as I am.
Empty vases of lost memories I no longer regret.
A garden blossoms beyond decaying bitterness.

Serenity
In solitude beneath the thousands stars,
Ponderances of old stories from times so far,
Of glisten eyes, of love untold,
Of a silence in sweet forebode,
Sat in stillness; listen to the muted night,
Whispering leaves under moonlit sky,
A memory of honeycombs like tender embrace;
Ingrained eternally, peaceful moment in grace.

When is there a Time to Say Goodbye?
The sun fades to give way to a starry sky,
The stars dwindle to give lights to the day,
The world floats forward like the ocean waves,
But goodbye does not come out so naturally.
For it is not in us to bid adieu,
For it is not in us to say I’ll miss you,
We are only human as human can be,
Adapting to changes only to adversity.
We live and breathe to see new life,
We live and breathe not to say goodbye.

A Soft Lie
My heart bleeds, disappointed.
Honesty, this was not it.
I am who I am, there is no change.
You hated me, I stayed the same.
I open myself to you, you call it annoyance.
You said I forced myself into your life,
I said it didn't happen. Perspective is different.
Now you say we are friend, but all I see is a lie.
If you don’t like the person you first met,
Then there is nothing, nothing for us ahead.

A Moment Please
The flower petals dance in rhythm
To the breeze that lift it up and down.
A life that tune to the many seasons,
Hopelessly lost to nature’s memorizing sounds.
The hand of fate ticks in agonizing seconds,
I am lost forever within my own silence.
Thus I continue each animate moment
Forgetting that I am breathing; living.

Confession
O' starry night, beauty beneath.
Clandestine glow, a moonlit sky.
Lips pulsating, a rhythmic heartbeat.
Darkness turns bright, I met her eyes.
Mellow embrace to that tender light,
Shall heaven bless our eternal delight?

The Loneliness of Reality
I feel the coldness of my winter, shivering heartstrings
ache of insecurity.
The demented mind
dreams of sugarplum and fanciful time passed;
Freezing wind shattered the shell,
my sanctuary.
Alone I stood upon the
plane of the liminal
– the winter wind – illusion and delusion,
All whisht away
in its icy embrace.
Again, I woke up to
the coldness of my winter.

The Nightingale
Was our a sprout that never blossomed?
Sitting on her windowsill, singing love’s lament;
Summer days slipped pass, the images remained.
Does love age and fade; lasting as long as the migrating
night?
Lost is the time of the songstress; singing to the deserting
sky.
Does not the moon see it nor does it care to hear its cries?
A distance separation, a lone nightingale takes flight.

A Few New One
"The Winds"
The winds blow about in gentle fleeing moments.
Love, pain, and sorrow are but a breeze in a life.
Give me your anguish, and I will blow it away.
Give me your misery, and I will set it fluttering free.
Life is a moment that passes in a blink of an eye.
Don't blink to the winds or life will pass you by.
"You"
Your eyes shine of the heavenly bodies.
It is a mirror of the endless dancing stars.
Just a glimmer and I can see the sea of fireflies,
Dancing in harmony in an ocean of spectral lights.
When I stare at the moon, you are staring back at me.
Under this sky, you are the heaven, perfection’s embodied.
Your constant present within my mind,
You heal away this lonely heart of mine.
There is nothing more to life than your embraces,
I’ll walk a thousand miles to brush the tears off of your
face.
I’ll hold you dear within my soul every night as I stare
upon starlight’s glow.
You are the only one I want, my one and only living Sun.
"At the End of a Journey"
The quiet wind gently touches his face.
His feelings, his thoughts, the longings of the ages
Quietly pass by as the warmth of the setting sun
Embraces his ending travels.
Tired and worn-out from the twisting paths,
Wrong roads taken, unforeseen dangers that passed,
Pitfalls and traps that consumed his loves,
Lost sites and wonders that he could not turn back for.
The clouds darken as it hang upon invisible hands.
Luminous lights descend upon his once distance horizon.
His eyes are weary, tired….
All he sees is a glimmering mirage, a dream, a beautiful
illusion....
But slowly into darkness, everything fades away...gone.
They close slowly…finally…rest.

“Tending a Path”
Clouds passed by, no rains to fall.
A path opens up, tread not nor call.
Weeds grow and cover, a road is lost.
Friendship…and the imaginary costs.
“Friend”
Free of judgment, never condemning.
Free being stupid; not misinterpreted.
Free being furious; there are two screaming.
Truly free to be me; that…a friend should be.
“A Day of Destiny”
Dreams will hold tight,
Dust contentiously tussles with the light.
Darkness destroys weary sights,
Dawn brings renew sacrifices.
Luminous heart of justice,
Shinning soul beyond frightful night.
Embraces your heart’s omnibus,
Protects the visions of what might.
Desolate winter winds will come unabated,
The scorching summer heat is near,
Destiny and Fate at your gate,
Deliverance of most daunting fears.
Answers with honor and sincerity.
Heroes are born in quiet tranquility.
None know of immortalizing necessity.
Sacrifices forgotten…lives continue in serenity.

"Natural Link"
The stars in the sky remind me of a story I should tell you
Of the day I became the metaphorical cosmic hero.
Deep in the heart of brilliant galactic flames,
Rest thermal nuclear fusion of a losing game.
Stood to face unknown precision,
Fluctuating between differentiating positions,
Birth a child of unparallel contradiction
A creature both dead and living
Until I decided I will be breathing
Then everything is natural conditioning.
Now I am thoughts and reasons,
Controlling matter and antimatter existences,
Until the entire universe is my imagination.
Metaphorical cosmic hero, Natural Link.

"Dream and Reality"
Marching battalions
On the edge of true reasons
Among fire legions of hellions,
Electromagnetic consortiums
Vaporizing carbon-base illusions.
Automation of silent hell-raising.
Daunting sleep, futurist dreamers waking.
Reality's bit laten, ablazen,
hears not, the world a shaken.
Wakes not, true dreamers' heaven.
Fear not, the worlds forgotten.
Breathes that, your daily living.
On the edge of true reasons
Among fire legions of hellions,
Electromagnetic consortiums
Vaporizing carbon-base illusions.

"Make a Different"
She is now sixteen….
A birthday passed without laughter or celebration.
She now sat in class, full of desperation,
Look at a world, she only see suffering.
Unable to read, a soul forsaken;
SUCCESS? - HA! -that's not in her imagination.
She dreams of release, of returning to her parents.
Of a few drop of poisons, she’ll be happy again….
A gentle hand reached out to her shoulder.
A friend, a teacher, a brother or sister.
“You are not alone; not now, not ever.
Give me your hands, we’ll walk this life together.”
Simple compassion, simple gestures;
Saved a young girl’s precious laughter.
The color of his skin is their reasons.
Lost jobs, lost lives, lost visions in daily concessions.
Terror in his sleeps while in total isolation.
Why must he live life in unjust discrimination?
Resisting the drugs he sees on the streets,
the easier life that could be his…
“What right do they have to criminalize me?”
How much longer can he resists his needs?
A person walked up and offered him a drink…
“A man is a man no matter the color of his skin.
His fortitude, his life, his everlasting ambitions;
Can’t die from fear embedded oppositions.
The true human color is not that of racism;
We can do better for our children.”

Remember
Day by day we live life wondering,
Not seeing the impacts we are making,
Hurting from inaction,
Conflicting thoughts, entrapment.
The Golden Rule supersede,
Human souls are our deeds.
Give or take, what is misery?
Suffering can be releases.
Time is an Epitaph, Life is a Verse.
Actions are Legacies, Death can be Worst.
Not seeing the impacts we are making,
Hurting from inaction,
Conflicting thoughts, entrapment.
The Golden Rule supersede,
Human souls are our deeds.
Give or take, what is misery?
Suffering can be releases.

Success
Impossible to take a STEP;
Foot faltered, fears escalated; KEPT.
Run, run, drop. Run, run, drop. DEFEAT.
Better now that you finished, COMPLETE.
The "People's" Nation
Where is the PEOPLE’s nation?
Indignation to the incantation of human suffering,
Calculated men of represented differences
Playing games of ill soul festering.
Where is the PEOPLE’s nation?
All we do is fight in ignorance,
Fears manifest our own belligerence,
Everyday struggling to live in indifference.
WHERE IS THE people’s NATION?

The Poetry Corner
"Christmas"
A time for gathering in sharing each other’s joy.
A moment of peace before the children open their toys.
A time of kinship, and of stories to be told.
About caring and giving, and memories we hold.
It is a time of remembrance of what we have.
It is a time of offering to those that lack.
It is a time to prey for the one who can’t make it home,
But lets not forget, it is a time of smiles and cheers, and the enjoyment of all to come.
Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to everyone!!!
"Destiny"
When people talk of destiny, I always wonder where I’ll be.
In a far off day from now, will I stand on solid ground,
Or will I fall under, lost and unable to find a footing?
Screaming out in silence, asking for help but no one listen.
Searching for a path, but lead by confusion, no road taken.
"Forgotten"
A falling, dying leaf,
Left alone to crumple beneath unnoticing feet,
Bit by bit, weathered away, eventually no one remembers.
It is but a single leaf, there are so many others so green,
One lost is no lost, no need to whimper over such insignificant things.
"A Harsh Winter Night"
Flung open his window mid-winter night.
Cold breezes, waking dreamers, bite dreary sight.
The old man stood still, bracing the harsh wind,
Blowing him down, burning him through his skin.
But, the man would not relents to this world,
his might will not bends as his will is sure.
Worn tired hands reach out to faith so ill
the treasure sitting on the windowsill.
With a strong conviction he dares embraced
The precious baby bird, birthed and forsake,
Forgotten by faith, left alone to die,
just like he is, knowing life is not kind.
Remorse ran down the old man’s bright eyes
as he took the bird in, “Home of our kind.”
"A Love I Seek"
Be as it’s made until the day I die.
Nothing I regrets except your cries.
Egocentric, self serving, that I may be.
Your cries will always bring me to my knee.
It has always been just about me.
In life, in work, in all degrees….
Yet when I am standing next to you,
I see the “I” in life is not so true.
Standing with you, the sky will shine.
When led by you, I am not blind.
Never had I known a world so great,
Until I’m accompanied by your beauty and grace.
A time for gathering in sharing each other’s joy.
A moment of peace before the children open their toys.
A time of kinship, and of stories to be told.
